Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It is written for a small professional practice and an early product demo. It is not legal advice.

1. What we collect

A. more-torque.com (marketing / consulting)

• Contact form. Name, organization, email, and message. Submissions go through FormSubmit to jeff@more-torque.com. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and related follow-up.
• Email and phone. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence as needed to work with you.
• PDF brief downloads. Requesting a brief may involve a normal browser download; we do not require an account for those PDFs.
• Analytics. Vercel Web Analytics (first-party style usage metrics such as page views and referrers). We use this to understand site traffic, not to sell ads.

We do not sell personal information. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on more-torque.com as of the effective date.

B. Draftline (draftline.more-torque.com)

Draftline is a floorplan studio offered as a design aid and demo. Depending on how you use it, we may collect:

• Account credentials (email and password) if you sign in with an account.
• Sandbox / demo session data if you use “Try demo” without an account (work may be wiped).
• Uploaded files you choose to upload (for example venue floorplan PDFs or related charts).
• Project / floorplan data you create in the product.
• Analytics via Vercel Web Analytics on the Draftline app.
• Technical logs needed to run and secure the service (for example approximate IP, browser type, timestamps), retained only as long as useful for operations and security.

Do not upload content you are not allowed to share. Prefer anonymized plans for demos when possible.

2. How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and provide consulting or product support.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Sites and Draftline.
• Understand aggregate usage (analytics).
• Protect against abuse, spam, and security incidents.
• Comply with law when required.

We do not use your contact-form message or Draftline uploads to train public AI models for unrelated third parties.

3. Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed to run the Services:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (for example if Torque’s assets are sold), with notice where practical.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. How long we keep it

• Inquiries: as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records (typically up to a few years unless a longer relationship or legal need applies).
• Draftline accounts and projects: for the life of the account, or until you ask us to delete them, subject to backups and legal holds.
• Sandbox / demo data: may be wiped at any time without notice.
• Analytics and logs: short operational windows, then aggregate or delete.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small practice and early-stage app (HTTPS, access controls, hosted infrastructure). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Draftline is a design aid, not permit approval — see the Draftline Terms of Use.

6. Your choices

Email jeff@more-torque.com to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of an inquiry or Draftline account/data (we will confirm what we can remove; sandbox wipes and legal retention may limit this).
• Opt out of non-essential marketing email (we do not run a mass newsletter today; replies to your inquiry are not “marketing”).

If you are in a jurisdiction with additional rights (for example California or the EEA/UK), we will honor applicable requests. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

7. Children

The Services are for business and professional use. They are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International visitors

We operate from the United States (Maryland). If you contact us or use Draftline from elsewhere, you understand your information is processed in the U.S.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and material changes will be posted on this page.
